Currently I’m a filmmaker living on the tip of Africa.
Filmmaking was a family tradition and sucked me in from the beginning – but I studied Genetics and then History of Scientific Thought at university in the UK which shaped my brain in a different way.
Surprised myself by having two children and found observing them to be a fascinating way of figuring out how we work as people.
And years later, I find myself coming back to stuff I was doing at university, finally starting to really understand what I was doing then.
There’s so much to know it overwhelms me sometimes.
Oh, and sometimes I write poetry.
